Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 149

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī - upon whom be mercy - narrates: Ya’qūb ibn Ibrāhīm related to us; he said: Yazīd ibn Hārūn related to us; he said: Yaḥyā informed us, from Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Ḥibbān, that his uncle Wāsi’ ibn Ḥibbān informed him that

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar - may Allāh Almighty be content with both of them - informed him: One day, I climbed up onto the roof of my house, and I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ sitting upon two bricks, facing Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem).
