Sub-Chapter (Baab)

Sahih Al Bukhari 141

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī (upon whom be mercy) narrates: ‘Alī ibn ‘Abdullāh reported to us, he said: Jarīr informed us, from Manṣūr, from Sālim ibn Abī al-Ja’d, from Kurayb,

from Ḥazrat Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allāh Almighty be content with him), who conveyed that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “When any one of you approaches his wife, let him begin with the Name of Allāh (Bismillāh) and say: ‘O Allāh! Keep Satan away from us and keep Satan away from that which You grant us.’ Then any child that Allāh decrees for them will be protected from the influence of Satan.”
