Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: Bityah ibn Bukayr narrated to us; he said: al-Layth narrated to us from Khālid, from Sa’īd ibn Abī Hilāl,
from Nu’aym al-Ḥijr. He said: I went up to the roof of the mosque with Abū Hurayrah - may Allāh Almighty be content with him. Abū Hurayrah performed ablution and then said: “Indeed, I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: ‘My ummah will be called on the Day of Resurrection as ghurr muḥajjalīn (those with shining faces and radiant hands and feet) because of the traces of ablution. So whoever among you is able to extend his radiance, let him do so.’”
