Imam Bukhari narrates: Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al-Hanzali narrated to us, he said: Abdur Razzaq informed us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from Hammam bin Munabbih, that he heard Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allāh be pleased with him) saying that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
The prayer of a person who has broken his wudu will not be accepted until he performs wudu again. A man from Hadramaut asked: O Abu Hurairah! What is "hadath"? He said: The passing of wind, whether silently or with sound.
