Al-Imām al-Bukhārī relates: Ahmad ibn Abī Bakr Abū Muṣ’ab narrated to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Dīnār narrated to us, from Ibn Abī Dhi’b, from Sa’īd al-Maqburī

from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh Almighty be content with him). He said: I said: “O Messenger of Allāh, I hear many ḥadīths from you which I forget.” He said: “Spread your cloak.” So I spread my cloak. Then he gathered his two hands together (as if scooping) and placed it into my cloak, and then he said: “Wrap this cloak around your body.” So I wrapped it around my body, and after that I never forgot anything.

Al-Imām al-Bukhārī also relates: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mundhir narrated to us. He said: Ibn Abī Fudayk narrated to us the same (ḥadīth).
