Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: ‘Alī ibn ‘Abdullāh narrated to us; he said: Sufyān narrated to us; he said: ‘Amr narrated to us; he said: Wahb ibn Munabbih informed me

from his brother, who said: I heard Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh Almighty be content with him) say: “None of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ had more hadith memorised than I did, except ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr, for he used to write (hadith), whereas I did not write.”

And Ma’mar supported (corroborated) Wahb ibn Munabbih in this narration, from Hammām, from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh Almighty be content with him).
