(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Abdullah bin Yusuf narrated the hadith to us, he said: Imam Malik informed us, from Hisham bin Urwah, from his father, from Hazrat Umm al-Mu'minin Aishah (Allāh be pleased with her), she informed that

she never saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ offer prayer sitting at night, until his age became advanced, so he ﷺ would recite the Qur'an sitting, until when he ﷺ intended to perform ruku, he ﷺ would stand up, then recite about thirty or forty verses, then perform ruku.
