(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ishaq bin Mansur narrated the hadith to us, he said: Rauh bin Ubadah informed us, he said: Husain informed us, from Abdullah bin Buraidah, from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (Allāh be pleased with him), he asked the Prophet ﷺ, and Ishaq informed us, he said: Abdul Samad informed us, he said: I heard my father, he said: Al-Husain narrated the hadith to us, from Ibn Buraidah, he said: Hazrat Imran bin Husain narrated the hadith to me, and he had piles, he said:

I asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ about the one who offers prayer sitting, he ﷺ said: "If he offered prayer standing, then that is better, and whoever offered prayer sitting, he will get half the reward of the one who offers prayer standing, and whoever offered prayer lying down, he will get half the reward of the one who offers prayer sitting."
