Al-Imām al-Bukhārī narrates: ‘Alī ibn al-Ja’d narrated to us; he said: Shu’bah informed us; he said: Manṣūr informed me; he said:

I heard Rib’ī ibn Ḥirāsh say: I heard ‘Alī (may Allāh Almighty be content with him) say that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not attribute lies to me, for whoever attributes a lie to me must enter the Fire.”
