(Imām Bukhārī narrates): Ishāq narrated to us, he said: Yahyā ibn Sālih informed us, he said: Mu'āwiyah ibn Salām ibn Abī Salām al-Habashī al-Dimashqī narrated to us, he said: Yahyā ibn Abī Kathīr narrated to us, he said: Abū Salamah ibn 'Abdur-Rahmān ibn 'Awf al-Zuhrī informed me, from 'Abdullāh ibn 'Amr, may Allāh be pleased with them both, he narrated that:

when the sun was eclipsed in the time of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, this announcement was made: that the congregation is ready.
